Welcome to Keystone Habits. By using our website, purchasing our kits, or joining our coaching programs, you agree to the following terms.
1. Scope of Practice: I am a Recovery Coach, not a psychotherapist or medical doctor. We deal in life strategies, habit formation, and actionable momentum. We do not provide mental health diagnoses or clinical therapy. If your needs exceed the scope of coaching, I will support you in finding the appropriate medical resources.
2. Communication Protocols: Coaching occurs during scheduled sessions. For non-urgent communication, use the secure messaging feature in Practice Better. Please note: I am not available for 24/7 crisis support. In the event of a medical or safety emergency, you agree to contact appropriate emergency services immediately.
3. The "No-Rescue" Policy: I am your partner in building a blueprint, not your savior. I will not intervene in your crises or make decisions for you. My role is to provide the objective truth and the tools; your role is to apply them.
4. Professional Detachment: To remain objective and helpful, I maintain professional boundaries. Our relationship is strictly coach-to-client. This ensures I can provide the "hard truths" you need to hear without the clouds of personal bias.
5. The Right to Objective Truth: You will never be told what you "want" to hear. You have the right to receive honest, data-driven feedback on your situation. We do not sugarcoat the reality of addiction, and you have the right to expect that I will be a mirror for the truth, not a crutch.
The Right to Agency: You are the driver of your recovery. You have the right to challenge my coaching, suggest a different path, or pause the process. I believe in your capability—we are partners, not supervisor and subordinate.
The Right to Privacy & Security: Your data is protected by the highest standards. We use Practice Better, a HIPAA-compliant platform, to ensure your information, notes, and communications remain encrypted and confidential.
The Right to Professional Integrity: You are entitled to a coach who is properly licensed, insured, and committed to their own ongoing professional development. You have the right to expect me to act in your best interest at all times
6. Limitation of Liability
Keystone Habits and its coaches (including Adam) shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of our services, including but not limited to relapse, health complications, or loss of data.
